Harvard Model Congress Korea (HMCK) is an international organization founded in 2008 by Mate Pencz in order to facilitate intellectual and academic exchange on pertinent issues of global politics and diplomacy, particularly in the Republic of Korea.

Held at COEX World Trade Center, the premiere space for political and business conventions located in the heart of the Korean capital, the conference provides a realistic and expansive setting for high-potential students from top Korean schools to engage in interdisciplinary exchange and compete for awards in a number of categories.

As a very young and dynamic organization, HMCK strives to expand its base continually and as part of this effort has won the endorsement of the United States Embassy to the Republic of Korea. Deputy Chief of Mission to the Republic of Korea, Bill Stanton, spoke at the first annual conference on January 28th, 2009, engaging with students in an interchange on cultural, political and diplomatic issues facing Korea and the United States today.

HMCK has seen an incredibly promising applicant pool and welcomed students from over 20 Korean schools during its first application year.
